This website is a home — the home of Jews and for non-Jews who follow the Noachide mitzvot (commandments). We gather together as a community to discuss Judaism, and to counter missionary efforts to convert Jews to other religions and just “schmooze” (chat). Today Judaism is under attack — hundreds of millions of dollars are spent worldwide in efforts to convert Jews to other religions. These other religions claim that Jews can be “Jewish” while practicing another faith (Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc.). That is a lie. A Jew who follows another religion isn’t “kosher.” (See: “Who is Jewish?”) Jews have a contract, a áÌÀøÄéú “brit” with G-d. The Hebrew word áÌÀøÄéú (brit) means an agreement or a pact or a treaty. An excellent article on the subject of covenants in the T’nach (Jewish bible) is found at Messiah Truth. This contract binds us to live as Jews and have only One G-d. We agreed to this contract as an entire nation born and unborn at Mount Sinai when G-d spoke to every Jew — national revelation. This eternal contract binds Jews to follow G-d’s instructions on how to perfect this world — The Torah (known as “The Five Books of Moses” or the Pentateuch). Any religion that comes along and claims to replace this covenant is false. Deuteronomy 4: 2. Do not add to the word which I command you, nor diminish from it, to observe the commandments of the L-rd your G-d which I command you. . . Deuteronomy 13:2 [This is what you must do] when a prophet or a person who has visions in a dream arises among you. He may present you with a sign or miracle, 13:7 [This is what you must do] if your blood brother, your son, your daughter, your bosom wife, or your closest friend secretly tries to act as a missionary among you, and says, 'Let us go worship a new god. Let us have a spiritual experience previously unknown by you or your fathers.' Did the Jews at Mount Sinai who heard G-d speak know of Jesus? Even if you think Jesus is “part” of the G-d of Sinai, Deuteronomy 13 refutes you. My fore-fathers did not know Jesus. Jesus was not at Sinai. Jesus is a false god. Deuteronomy 13 tells you that your “spiritual experience” in other religions — religions unknown to the Jews at Mount Sinai — are false. What about non-Jews? Can’t they worship Jesus? Can they worship Buddha or Zeus or any god they like? Non-Jews are not bound by the instructions given to Jews, but they are bound to the seven mitzvot (commands) given to Noah. Just because Jews have a contract with G-d doesn’t mean we are superior to non-Jews or that G-d loves us more than he loves all of His creation. To the contrary, we Jews are a nation of priests who are charged with following His instructions and being an example, “a light” to the world. A mitzvah that binds all mankind is against idolatry. Worshipping other gods — and this includes worshipping Jesus as a god, or even praying in the name of Jesus is avodah zara — idolatry. What if you don’t believe Jesus is G-d, but still think he was the messiah? Well, you are entitled to your opinion, but according to Jewish law and the T’nach (bible) Jesus was not the Jewish messiah. The Jewish messiah (anointed one) will be a mortal human being — not a god. Check out our page “Messiah Wanted.” and “Is Jesus the Real Messiah?” If you want to know what Judaism and Torah teach, then welcome. Torah is a tree of life to those who will grasp it. If you are not interested in Judaism or even Noachidism but are curious, welcome also. Feel free to visit our forum to ask any questions that you have.
